Both models use the same team and the same quality standards. The difference is how the work is scoped and billed.

Resource-Based Engagement

You need a dedicated engineer embedded in your team — someone who works your hours, uses your tools, joins your standups, and is accountable to you day-to-day. TekMinds provides the person; you direct the work. We handle everything else.

Client Defines the Role
You tell us what you need: the discipline (electrical, mechanical, finance, etc.), experience level, required tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ETAP, P6), and any sector-specific knowledge. We work from your job description or help you build one.

TekMinds Sources & Matches
We match from our existing team or hire and train a new candidate specifically for your requirements. You interview finalists and approve the assignment before the resource starts.

Resource Is Dedicated to Your Team
Your assigned engineer works under your direct supervision — joining your project management tools, email channels, and calls. They are operationally your team member; TekMinds handles employment, infrastructure, and compliance in Pakistan. In some engagements, TekMinds also provides day-to-day management of the resource, so clients aren't always required to manage them directly.

TekMinds Manages the Back Office
Training, IT infrastructure, HR, replacement cover for leaves and absences — all handled by TekMinds. If a resource isn't working out, we find a replacement. You're never left without cover.

Project-Based Engagement

You have a defined scope — a drawing package, a submittal, a study, a proposal. You send us the brief and we turn it around. Ideal for clients with variable workloads who need fast, reliable output without committing to a full-time resource.

Client Sends the Assignment
You email the scope, drawings, specifications, or reference files to TekMinds. A quick conference call is available if needed to align on requirements, format, and delivery timeline.

TekMinds Assigns the Right Resources
We match the scope to the right engineer(s) based on discipline, experience, and availability. If we don't have an immediately available resource, we tell you — no false commitments.

Deliverable Returned in 24–48 Hours
For standard packages, expect the completed deliverable by email within 24–48 hours. Larger scopes are agreed upfront with a firm timeline before work begins.

Review, Feedback & Revision
You review the deliverable and provide feedback. TekMinds makes revisions — included in scope — until the output meets your approval standard. We don't close a job until you're satisfied.

How experienced is the TekMinds team?
We bring 30+ years of combined experience in electrical engineering and panel design. Every team member assigned to a project has a minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience and is supported by senior engineering oversight throughout the engagement.
What is the typical turnaround for a project?
Many standard deliverables are turned around within 12–24 hours. Resources and priority allocation can be adjusted based on the urgency of your request — just let us know your deadline upfront and we will plan accordingly.
What are your rates?
Full-time dedicated resources start at $1,000/month and vary depending on the required skill set and project complexity. Project-based work is quoted on a flat-fee or hourly basis. Reach out and we'll put together a clear quote — no ambiguity, no surprises.
Can I hire full-time dedicated resources?
Yes. We place technically qualified and experienced engineers who work directly under your team on a full-time basis — integrated into your workflows, tools, and schedules. TekMinds handles all infrastructure, training, HR, and quality oversight for the duration of their assignment.
How do I best manage a dedicated resource?
Your resources work in alignment with your business hours and project schedule. We recommend treating them as you would an in-house team member — frequent ad-hoc check-ins, structured weekly reviews, and clear task assignments. We support collaboration via Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and email.
What if I am not satisfied with the resource or team?
We go to great lengths to match the right talent to your needs from the start. But if it's not working out, we take corrective action — up to and including replacement of the resource or team — to better fit your requirements. You are never locked in to a situation that isn't delivering.
How often will I receive project progress updates?
This depends on the complexity and timeline of your project, but expect at minimum daily interaction for active engagements and more formal weekly or bi-weekly progress reports. We calibrate reporting cadence to what works best for your team and stakeholders.
Can TekMinds handle small or one-off tasks?
Absolutely — no task is too small. Even if a job requires just a few hours of work, we can handle it. We are confident that the quality and speed of our output will lead you to trust us with larger and longer-term work over time.
